Take your shot at winning a Ruger American Predator Gen II - a rugged, precision-built bolt-action rifle designed for hunters who demand dependable performance in the field. The Predator Gen II features a CNC-machined stainless-steel bolt with Ruger’s smooth three-lug design and 70-degree throw, providing plenty of clearance for your scope. Its distinctive splatter-finished stock delivers a confident grip in the field, while the adjustable length of pull and low comb help create a comfortable, natural shooting position. A medium-contour, spiral-fluted, threaded barrel, factory-installed radial-port muzzle brake, Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, three-position tang safety, and factory Picatinny rail round out a rifle that’s made to perform from the range to the deer woods.
And the timing couldn’t be better: beginning January 1, 2027, qualifying centerfire rifles holding no more than 3 rounds of ammunition may be used to hunt deer in Illinois. With a round in the chamber in conjunction with the factory magazine, this rifle has a maximum capacity of 5 rounds. If you plan to hunt deer in Illinois with it, you will need to make an adjustment to the magazine to insure it can only hold 2 rounds of ammunition. Hunters are responsible for complying with current IDNR regulations.
Only 100 tickets available. Tickets will be on sale until Monday, November 30th when the winning ticket will be drawn during the banquet at the annual ICF Director's Hunt. You do not have to be present to win. The winner must have a valid FOID card. The prize will be shipped to the winner's preferred FFL dealer.
