The Northern Pintail has been selected as our feature for the 2026 Waterfowl pin. Known for its graceful flight and distinctive markings, the pintail is a favorite among hunters and birdwatchers alike.

For the 2025–2026 season, hunters will also notice an exciting change: the daily bag limit for Northern Pintails has increased from one bird to three, offering more opportunities to enjoy this remarkable species in the field.
